First Weeks of School Year 2014-2015

It has been a busy and exciting first couple weeks of our new school year. Students have been busy at work using their creativity to make unique and vibrant works of art. These photos were taken during the past two weeks while students were clearing out their artistic cobwebs and using their skills to create various projects. Some students have been enjoying our new Free Time choice, sewing with yarn on burlap. Enjoy the Art Room photos, and I look forward to our upcoming year!

Start Collecting your Recyclables! The Art Room Needs...

Hello FCCDS Families!

Thank you to all those who have been collecting recyclable materials for the art room, which have been greatly appreciated! In addition to the materials already listed, there are some more recyclable materials that can be used for the creation of art projects. If you use any of these or have any left overs, please bring them in so we can put them to good use!

-       Pizza Boxes (Any size and, preferably, without leftover pizza remainders)

-       Bottle Caps (Of all sizes and colors)

-       Old Magazines (We desperately need some)

-       Styrofoam Egg Cartons (Again, we desperately need some)

-       Aluminum Soda Cans

-       Old CD’s

-       Brown Paper Bags

Thank you again for your continued support for the art room here at FCCDS, and thank you for following our art blog!
