Jingle Boutique Greeting Cards

As part of the Jingle tradition, students will be creating artwork for sale. This year, students are creating artwork on large canvases that will then be printed onto greeting cards. The large artwork is created by each grade as a collaborative effort.
The greeting card theme was chosen by the students, and after a school wide vote, the students chose the theme 'Pittsburgh Living'.  To vary each artwork, each grade chose a “mini-theme.” These “mini-themes” include Sports, Tourism, the skyline and much more! The students have been hard at work deciding what to depict on the canvas and how to best showcase their theme.  They discussed and decided on the overall layout of their canvas. The students are taking on the task of creating and completing the artwork on their own, with a little bit of my guidance.
Once complete, there will be a large piece of artwork collaboratively completed by each grade on canvas that represents an aspect of Pittsburgh Living. These artworks will be auctioned off in addition to the greeting cards being sold. The greeting cards will showcase Pittsburgh Living, which means they can be used during any season or holiday.
I will continue to update on the status of our canvases. Keep an eye out for which one you think will make a great addition to your home collection!
